Kindermusik Staff

Kindermusik educator, Marne Gleason, says that teaching Kindermusik classes is the perfect blend of the love of children and passion for music. I love the fact that I can dance, sing and play with children-and call it a job! I have been able to meet many wonderful parents & families that I have befriended through all these years! The Kindermusik program and the support system I've had, since 1998, empowers me to do the work I believe in.

Local educator is a Maestro of early childhood education

Naples, Fl.  Marne Gleason has been named a Maestro Producer, which is an award given by Kindermusik International, the world's leading publisher of music and movement programs. Marne's individual Kindermusik program also received an award in 2007 for having the largest Family Time program worldwide over 5,500 other educators.

Gleason is an early childhood specialist and teaches Kindermusik in Naples at various facilities and preschools.  The Maestro Producer award recognizes excellence in teaching Kindermusik to children and a fast-growing program.

"The Kindermusik Maestro has a mission: helping children become better learners and helping
parents understand how to help them reach their highest potential," said Michael Dougherty, CEO at Kindermusik International.

Marne Gleason is one of more than 5,500 licensed educators in the world who use Kindermusik's music and movement curricula. Gleason began providing Kindermusik at Grace Lutheran and St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in 1998.  Today, Gleason teaches the learning program to families and students in various locations around SW Florida.

In the last year, Gleason has grown her program extensively through enrollment by word of mouth and advertisements, along with demonstration classes at different locations throughout Naples.

"I'm honored to have been recognized for such an award by Kindermusik International. It shows that my hard work and dedication of teaching such a wonderful program to children has paid off.  I want to thank all my Kindermusik families for their kind words and referrals to other families, so they too can experience Kindermusik and make them aware of a superb children's program." said Gleason.

The Maestro Program recognizes licensed Kindermusik educators who master one of three levels in early childhood development: fast-growing programs, outstanding community service, and teaching excellence.

More than 7,000 licensed educators use the Kindermusik curricula in 66 countries, reaching 1 million families. Kindermusik International has more than 25 years of experience creating curricula based on new and proven research in child development. The award-winning books, CDs, games, and instruments nurture skills in the whole child: cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language.

In a Kindermusik class, educators lead a group of parents and their children through joyful activities, using music and movement. Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates learning with fun, musical play. The learning process continues at home, guided by specially designed books, CDs, and games.
